Disclaimer

Finacolada helps you explore numbers. It does not tell you what to do with your money, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, borrow or withdraw anything.

Education, not advice

Finacolada is an educational project. It is not registered with SEBI as an investment adviser or research analyst, and its calculators are not personal financial, tax or legal advice. The guides explain how a formula works and what to consider. They do not say which option suits you.

For a decision about your own money, speak to a SEBI-registered investment adviser. For tax questions, speak to a chartered accountant or qualified tax professional. For loan terms, speak to your lender. For legal questions, speak to a qualified lawyer.

Results are estimates under assumptions

Every result depends on the inputs and assumptions shown next to it. Returns, inflation, interest rates, taxes, fees, timing and your own spending can all differ from the figures used here. Results are not forecasts, and past returns do not predict future ones. Market-linked investments carry risk, including the loss of capital.

The Monte Carlo simulator produces a range of possible outcomes from the assumptions you set. A success rate of 80% means that 80 out of 100 simulated paths lasted through the horizon under those assumptions. It does not mean the plan has an 80% chance in real life.

No guarantee of accuracy

The calculators are tested, and the methodology is published so you can check it. Errors can still exist, and Finacolada provides no warranty that any figure is complete, correct or current. Rules and rates change. A rate shown on the site may already be out of date, so check the official source before you act. The rates page shows when each rate was last checked.

Government schemes, banks and lenders decide the real terms of your account or loan. Their statements, scheme documents and loan agreements take priority over anything on this site.

Government rates

Small-savings rates are notified by the Government of India each quarter, and the EPF rate is declared each year. Between a notification and our next update, a rate on this site can be wrong. Always confirm against the official notification, India Post, EPFO or your bank before you rely on a figure.

Use at your own risk

You decide how to use the calculators and what to do with their results. Finacolada and its maintainer are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of this site.
